NO ENTRY (Entry Point) Best Weapons Guide
This guide details the most effective weapons for various scenarios within the game "NO ENTRY," commonly known as "Entry Point," drawing information from recent community discussions and analyses. Understanding weapon strengths, weaknesses, and optimal loadouts is crucial for success in both loud and stealth operations.
Overview of Weapon Categories
Weapons in Entry Point serve different roles, from direct combat to discreet eliminations and breaching. The effectiveness of a weapon often depends on the mission type (loud or stealth) and the player's chosen playstyle and perks.
Best Weapons for Loud Missions
For high-difficulty loud runs, certain weapons consistently stand out due to their damage output, ammunition capacity, and utility:
F57
The F57 is widely considered one of the best overall guns in the game. It's an automatic rifle known for its large clip size, high Damage Per Second (DPS), and long range, making it a versatile choice for any loud mission. It shares ammo with the Sawblade, which can be advantageous for refills on maps like Blacksite and Black Dusk, contributing to its sustained effectiveness in longer engagements. Recommended attachments for the F57 include a full stock, normal magazine, stubby grip, and a suppressor, with the TG3X often suggested for a sight. Its overall utility makes it almost mandatory for Legend missions.
CH-A
The CH-A is an excellent weapon for loud scenarios, particularly effective for headshots that can instantly eliminate most enemies. Its long range is ideal for countering snipers and distant targets. When paired with the 'Sniper Mastery' perk, the CH-A gains bullet penetration, allowing it to shoot through reinforced glass and enemy shields, making it a must-have against shielded and Aegis units. A significant drawback is its non-refillable ammo supply and a lower fire rate/smaller clip, which can be risky in close-range engagements against multiple enemies. Optimal attachments include a suppressor and a preferred sight like the TG3X.
CBR-C
The CBR-C is a high-damage rifle with a slower fire rate. It can take down most enemies with just two or three headshots. While it has a lower ammo capacity, this can be mitigated with an ammo vest and by picking up fallen ammunition. With specific damage buffs, such as full rifle training, a suppressor, and at least 12 'Vital Targets' perks, the CBR-C can one-shot SWAT units, effectively functioning as an improved CH-A in certain missions, though it cannot pierce shields. Some players consider it a very viable weapon, especially with 18 'Vital Targets' to one-shot TRU and ETF units.
480 MCS (Shotgun)
The 480 MCS is a powerful weapon for close-range combat, making it a viable option for missions with confined spaces such as The Deposit, The Withdrawal, The Kill House, and Black Site. It has a weapon mastery that boosts its intimidation range. However, its effectiveness drops significantly at long range, limiting its versatility.
MM20
This weapon fires in three-shot bursts, offering high DPS for short to medium-range encounters. A key issue with the MM20 is its rapid ammo consumption, and ammunition can only be refilled from K45 units, as no other enemy types use MM20 bullets.
S97
The S97 provides high DPS, making it viable in close-range combat. Its main disadvantages are its quick ammo depletion and high recoil. Ammo for the S97 can be refilled from units that use the same weapon.
Best Weapons for Stealth Missions
Stealth missions prioritize concealment, quiet takedowns, and quick movement. Pistols are generally favored for their mobility and ease of concealment.
UP9
The UP9 is frequently cited as the most popular and effective stealth weapon. It allows for the fastest movement speed when equipped and boasts the highest magazine capacity among pistols. It is useful in both stealth and, to some extent, loud scenarios, and is highly recommended when suppressed.
S97 (Suppressed)
A suppressed S97 is a strong choice for stealth, particularly when needing to quickly eliminate multiple NPCs, such as in the Black Dusk elite room. Concealment perks are necessary to maintain its stealth profile. With 'SMG mastery' or 'Concealed Holsters' and 'Inner Pockets', the S97 can be perfectly concealed with a suppressor and a Delta sight. It can also serve as a decent backup if stealth fails.
480 MCS (Suppressed)
With a suppressor, short grip (for concealment), and appropriate concealment perks, the 480 MCS shotgun becomes a good stealth option due to its intimidation range. It's notably useful in the Lakehouse mission for penetrating bulletproof glass to hit tamper switches.
K45
While having better stats than the UP9, the K45 is often considered overpriced. It can achieve one-shot headshots on rookie difficulty.
CH-A
Even in stealth, the CH-A has niche uses, such as wall-banging camera operators on The Deposit or eliminating cam men in the Blacksite cell block, though it requires carrying a bag.
Essential Breaching Tools
Breaching tools are critical for opening new paths and bypassing obstacles.
Thumper
Primarily a breaching tool rather than a weapon, the Thumper offers approximately four shots, equivalent to $800 worth of C4 for a cost of $1000. It's useful for blowing up walls and can save inventory space for more medkits.
Blowtorch
The Blowtorch is highly recommended as a primary breaching tool, especially if the Thumper is not being used. Its smaller size (half that of a drill) allows players to carry an additional medkit, which can be vital on missions where medkits cannot be replenished.
Recommended Perks and Skills
Optimizing your perk and skill tree can significantly enhance weapon performance and overall mission success:
Sniper Mastery: Crucial for CH-A users, as it enables bullets to penetrate reinforced glass and shields.
Rifle Mastery / Heavy Weapons Mastery: Choose based on your primary weapon. Heavy Weapons Mastery is beneficial if frequently using the Thumper.
Ammo Vest: Increases ammunition capacity, useful for weapons with lower base ammo like the CBR-C.
Dexterity & Steady Aim: General perks that improve weapon handling and accuracy.
Breaching Charge: Can be useful depending on mission requirements.
Vital Targets: Increases damage to vital areas. A significant number of points in this perk (e.g., 12-18) can enable weapons like the CBR-C to one-shot certain armored enemies.
Concealment Perks (Concealed Holsters, Inner Pockets): Essential for stealth builds, allowing players to conceal larger suppressed weapons like the S97 and 480 MCS.
Shotgun Mastery: Boosts the intimidation range of shotguns like the 480 MCS.
Mercenary Role: Provides access to two weapon masteries, which is highly beneficial for versatile loadouts.
Weapons to Reconsider
Some weapons are generally less recommended due to significant drawbacks or being outclassed by other options:
Sawblade: While it shares ammo with the F57 and has a large clip, its major drawback is a substantial movement speed penalty, making players very vulnerable. It is often outclassed by the F57 in most situations and can be expensive. It is generally seen as more of a utility item or for luring fire rather than a primary weapon.
Pistols (for Loud): Pistols are typically not intended as primary loud weapons. While the UP9 excels in stealth, other pistols like the K45 are often considered overpriced. Dual pistols are generally viewed as a waste of perk points.
SMGs/Rifles (for Stealth): Compared to pistols, SMGs and rifles are generally slower and harder to conceal, making them less ideal for dedicated stealth runs.
Grenades, C4, Proximity Mines: These explosives are generally not recommended for stealth missions.
