Introduction to Synergism Settings
Synergism is a complex incremental game with numerous interconnected systems. Achieving optimal progression often relies on fine-tuning various settings and automation options to maximize resource generation and overcome challenges. This guide compiles factual information from various community sources to help players make informed decisions about their gameplay settings.
General Automation and Quality of Life Settings
Automation is key to efficient progression in Synergism. Several settings can significantly improve your quality of life and resource gains:
Auto-Reincarnate: For early game obtainium (ob) gain, setting auto-reincarnate to 31 seconds can be effective. Later, an optimal time of 10 seconds is recommended for offerings, as this is when the penalty for offerings typically wears off.
Auto-Sacrifice (Ants): After acquiring Wow Cube Upgrade 3x8, setting auto-sacrifice to 4 seconds real time is suggested. However, for maximum effect from the Anthill time multiplier, the sacrifice timer should not be less than 24-30 seconds. Auto Sacrifice can be unlocked through Ant Sacrifice Count Achievements.
Automated Ascensions: Cube upgrade 1x10 provides automated ascensions. Initially, this can be set to 1 C10 completion.
Auto Challenge Sweep: Research 6x25 enables automatic challenge completion. Recommended settings for Auto Challenge Sweep are 1.5 seconds for start, 0.25 seconds before exit, and 0 seconds before entering a challenge. Another strategy suggests 0.3s, 0.25s, 0s, with auto-sacrifice every 2s to achieve a 9-second ascension time when using corruptions. Be aware that Auto Challenge Sweep might decrease recycling chance.
Instant Reincarnate: Research 5x6 allows for instant reincarnation after gaining 1 obtainium.
Automatic Obtainium Generation: Research 3x11 provides automatic obtainium generation, contributing 5% ob/sec as of version 1.0101. Focus on passive obtainium gain (3x11-3x13) when obtainium gain does not significantly increase before e15-e22.
Particle Upgrades: Research 5x7 unlocks the next tier of particle upgrades.
Cheap Automation: Researches 4x6, 4x7, 4x8, and 5x11 offer affordable automation options.
Auto-Rune Enchanter: If specific rune upgrades are desired, the auto-rune enchanter can be turned off.
Early Game: Reincarnation and Transcension Strategies
In the early stages, focusing on quick resets and efficient resource acquisition is crucial:
Faster Reincarnation: Prioritize researches 1x1-5 to enable much faster reincarnation, which in turn accelerates Obtainium gain.
Optimal Offering Runs: For maximizing offerings, performing 1-hour runs is suggested. Do not spend offerings until they reach 100,000 for the first time to help cap multipliers for e52 and e60 upgrades. Setting your timers to transcend after 601 seconds (plus any offering time bonus from the shop) allows for 5 transcends during a 1-hour reincarnation, optimizing offering gain by approximately 35%.
Rune Prioritization: The Thrift Rune is important to level, aiming for 200 for recycling percentage. Higher levels provide tax reduction. The Duplication Rune also offers tax reduction and can be a good alternative due to its cost-effectiveness. Maximize rune experience per offering; avoid using quarks before obtaining 5x2.
Mid Game: Ascension and Corruption Management
As you progress to ascension, corruptions become a major factor. They increase game difficulty but are essential for gaining cubes and other advanced resources.
Introducing Corruptions: To increase corruption settings, sacrifice your anthill a few times to get researches, then let Auto Challenge Sweep run through every challenge once before turning it off. Manually reincarnate several times, and once you have enough gems, start a challenge.
Gradual Increase: Increase corruption levels gradually, monitoring your cubes per minute in the settings tab. Only add a corruption level if it increases your cube gain. If things go poorly, revert to previous levels.
Challenge 10 Benchmark: If you are easily maxing Challenge 10, consider raising corruption levels. If you are just barely maxing it, your settings are likely optimal. If you cannot clear it, reduce corruption levels.
Corruption Scaling: The first two corruptions exhibit extreme scaling and should generally be maintained at similar levels. The last corruption, which nerfs coins, is considered one of the weakest nerfs to apply.
Bottleneck Analysis: Adjust corruption levels based on observed bottlenecks. For instance, if your runes aren't maxing out, consider reducing the corruption affecting offerings. If talisman levels are lagging, reduce the corruption impacting ant speed.
Specific Corruption Recommendations (Contextual):
* After ascending, an initial corruption setting of 3/3/3/2/3/13/6/4/3 is suggested.
* After completing Challenge 13x6, increase corruptions to 2/2/2/3/3/13/3/3/3. This can boost cube and tesseract gain by 80% and initiate Hypercube gain at 0.25/s.
* Manual corruption settings are unlocked after clearing Challenge 14.
Late Game: Advanced Strategies
Late-game progression often involves extended runs and focused resource farming.
Long Corrupted Runs: After setting up ascension and completing available transcension/reincarnation challenges, a long corrupted run (e.g., 8-24 hours) can yield significant Hypercubes, Tesseracts, and Cubes.
Tesseract Spending: Prioritize buying Tesseract buildings with a cost below 20,000. Invest in
